Alpinarc Cosmic Stellar

Stella is our foundation bitch here at Dieux Blancs. Stella's sire is FCI registered White Swiss Shepherd (Pach Keli Oz) Toby from Sweden and her dam is Whitemist Tia of Alpinarc.

Toby has had success several times in the conformation ring in Europe and is a highly successful tracking dog.

Tia has been very successful in every show entered. 2005 Best Baby Puppy in show, 2006 Best Junior in Show and 2007 Best Intermediate and Reserve Challenge Bitch.

Alpinarc Cosmic Stellar was born in June 2006 and from a very early age it was apparent that we had a very special girl. Stella is creamy white in colour, has a biscuit coloured strip through her back and ears and Stella has very good pigment. Stella's eyes are a shade too light but we are hoping our choice of stud will alleviate this in her pups.

Stella has been temperament tested and was assessed as "temperament excellent" by an independent and qualified assessor. She is appropriately protective of her home and can appear somewhat aloof to visitors but once she is comfortable she will be harassing you for a pat.

Stella is not a cuddly type of dog, she likes to lay beside you but is not big on people laying on or hugging her for extended periods. Personal experience has shown me that this is fairly typical of Shepherd bitches, boys are usually far more cuddly.  Stella is an independant type of dog who knows exactly what she wants and requires firm leadership.

To date, Stella has been entered into three shows with good results, at the 2006 White Swiss Shepherd Dog Club of Australia, she was awarded Runner Up "Baby Puppy Bitch" to Alpinarc Brise D'hiver who went on to win best baby puppy in show.

At the 2007 White German Shepherd Dog Alliance of Victoria Championship Show she was awarded "Best Junior Bitch" and Runner up "Junior in Show".

Stella has been DNA profiled, temperament tested and hip and elbows xrayed (2:2, 0:0).
